Branches of CERT

Psycho-Educational Services

In these days and times Japanese school-education system is threatened by a lot of problems that we have not experienced in the past. We, Shinshu University, Faculty of Education, Center for Educational Research and Training, seek out what we can do for the Japanese Education as a public university. Our Psycho-Educational Services Branch aims to provide psycho-educational services and training for children, parents, educators, and university students.

Educational Practice and Training

Having empathy for children, developing teaching material and organizing classes are the three most important practical teaching skills for teachers. Our Educational Practice and Training Branch provides prospective teachers opportunities in acquiring the skills through Friendship Activities and various field experiences with nature and community.

Multimedia

Our Multimedia Branch provides a functional multimedia setting that is high in quality and is of unrestricted use for university students, graduate students and faculty members. We aim to train Media-Coordinators. We also study the utilization of computers in Education, and the results, for example Study Series, are nationally used. Moreover, we support teachers and schools to start and maintain computer-based education.
